Webanywhere Inc appoints Lee Stayton as Head of e-Learning Consultancy as its US corporate growth expands

www.webanywhere.us, the developer of web based business e-learning solutions based on the Moodle and Totara LMS platforms, today announced that Lee Stayton, an expert in technology-enabled learning, has joined its expanding staff as Head of e-Learning Consultancy.

Stayton brings over 20 years experience from NSight, Verndale and LehmanMillet, most recently as Vice President of e-Learning Services at NSight, the content development and communications services firm that specializes in learning and information products.

"E-learning helps companies of all sizes sharpen their competitive edge," said Conor Gilligan, Head of Operations at Webanywhere. "Lee's experience and expertise and will help Webanywhere develop innovative e-learning solutions for training companies and training managers within the corporate sector. His appointment of Lee will enhance Webanywhere, Inc's capability to develop technology driven e-learning solutions that help to mobilise and commercialise business training content."

A Montana native and a Navy veteran, Stayton's early work focused on pioneering applications of decision support systems for executives in finance, logistics, and manufacturing. He co-founded Artmedialab International, an interactive firm that develops marketing and communication Web sites for businesses and sophisticated online education products for university-level physics and mathematics study. He also served as vice president of engineering at MediaMap, vice president of eProduct operations at LumaPath, production manager at VPG Integrated Media, and director of new media at Addison-Wesley Longman and Pearson Education, all in Massachusetts.

Stayton earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a concentration in quantitative science. He relocated to Massachusetts in 1983, and lives in Ashland with his wife, Barbara Mindell, a freelance writer/editor and painter. Their son is a senior at Brown University.

Stayton is a member of The eLearning Guild, United States Distance Learning Association, and the International Society for Performance Improvement.
