Webanywhere Becomes Authorized Google Enterprise Partner

Keighley, West YorkshireLearning NewsWebanywhere Limited

Webanywhere, the provider of web technology solutions for workplace learning and collaboration, today announces it has become an Authorized Google Enterprise Partner. This enables Webanywhere to customize, integrate and support Google Apps for Enterprise for customers of all sizes.

Google Apps for Enterprise helps more businesses make the transition to cloud computing. Google Apps includes a suite of messaging and collaboration services to help enhance an organization’s productivity. The messaging applications include email, instant messaging (text, voice, and video), and calendaring. The collaboration applications include Docs (shared text docs, spreadsheets, and presentations), Gmail (enterprise-wide email) and Video (share videos easily across the company).

Of particular interest to business training and HR managers will be Webanywhere's integration of Google Apps within the TotaraLMS and Moodle platforms via a single sign on. Integrating Google Apps with Totara and Moodle helps make the learning environment even simpler and more productive by eliminating the need to log in separately to check course progress.

Conor Gilligan, Head of Operations at Webanywhere, said "Google's email and calendars have fast become the preferred way for businesses of all sizes to collaborate and communicate. Our LMS integration enables authenticated users of a business learning platform to collaborate and share knowledge using Google documents, calendars and spreadsheets in a way that's not been possible before".
