Webanywhere joins BUPA, Morrisons and Saville Group to sponsor Leeds Business School L&D forum
Webanywhere, a leading provider of web technology solutions for workplace learning, is pleased to announce that it has become a sponsor of Leeds Business School's new HRD and Leadership Research Unit. Other sponsor organisations include WM Morrison Supermarkets plc, Hallmark Cards, Unilever and BUPA.
While there is much existing research of the three topics of leadership, knowledge and talent management, understanding is generally limited of how these connect and how best to integrate organisation practice on each to achieve maximum impact.
In response to these needs, Leeds Business School is establishing a new Research Unit, supported by a number of leading regional businesses, which will initiate new projects and disseminate and share new knowledge to inform and integrate L&D processes within organisational and professional practice. Webanywhere is the latest addition to HRDL's list of corporate partner organisations that already includes WM Morrison Supermarkets plc, Hallmark Cards, Unilever and BUPA.
HRDL's partnership with Webanywhere and other business partners provides benefits for both sides; Webanywhere will act as one of the research sites for HRDL and and will benefit from networking opportunities with other sponsors (including an annual conference) and access to the expert academic community within LBS. HRDL will work closely with Webanywhere on a range of workplace learning research projects of interest and relevance to the organisation.
"This is great news for Webanywhere and our customers," said Webanywhere's Head of Operations Conor Gilligan. "Being able to work closely with other members of the Leeds Business School's Research Unit will support our objective of becoming a leading provider of consultancy-led workplace learning solutions for Human Resouce Management (HRM), Human Resource Development (HRD) and Talent Management."
