Towards Maturity’s global benchmark strengthened with new Ambassador, Degreed

London, UKLearning NewsTowards Maturity

Evidence shows that user experience is key to instilling ownership in a learner’s routine and delivering business results.

Towards Maturity today announced its newest Ambassador Degreed, the world’s first career-long learning platform.

From Towards Maturity’s earliest days of research, the data has always shown the need for organisations to balance the requirements of the business, with that of the individual learners.

Degreed is an organisation doing just that – empowering both organisations and the individual wherever and whenever that may be.

Whilst 97% of organisations are looking to personalise learning programmes for an individual context, the results are underwhelming. Unlocking Potential, Towards Maturity’s 2016 Learner Benchmark Report, shows that only 19% are successful.

Our data has shown the results that can stem from empowering individual learners. It’s a new world of work and to deliver the best results businesses need to let their learners take control of their development,” said Laura Overton, CEO and Founder of Towards Maturity.

Degreed’s platform gets learners into the driving seat and provides a host of resources they can leverage at their point of need. We’re proud to welcome them as Ambassadors and collectively, we will look to ensure learner engagement and agility factors are at the top of L&D’s priority list,” added Overton.

David Blake, co-founder and CEO at Degreed added: “Our clients want more than just new technology. They’re asking for guidance and support to deal with the ever-growing skills gap and transform the way they keep their employees current. The Towards Maturity Benchmark gives us a unique and valuable new set of tools to help our clients make learning work better, faster and more cost-effectively.”

The Towards Maturity benchmark is freely available around the globe thanks to the support of Towards Maturity’s Ambassadors. It has been used by 5,600 L&D leaders to date and is used to provide personal recommendations and signposts areas for action and identify where and how to equip individuals in this rapidly changing environment.

Organisations can confidentially take part at the benchmark until 15th July 2017:
