Towards Maturity learning technology benchmark briefing on the finance sector

LondonLearning NewsTowards Maturity

Benchmark research company, Towards Maturity is presenting a briefing on the use of learning technologies for senior learning and development professionals working in the finance sector.

Towards Maturity is inviting senior learning and development professionals, organisational development specialists and talent leaders in the finance sector to the first sector-specific briefing of its type, hosted by Thomson Reuters, detailing the learning technologies benchmark data of 200 finance sector companies from Towards Maturity’s Benchmark Study.

Finance sector organisations are one of the top contributors to Towards Maturity’s benchmark. This briefing will be the first time that the new 2012-13 benchmark results have been unveiled and will be the only event where Towards Maturity will be digging deep into the findings on behalf of the finance sector.

“Finance companies are under increasing pressure to not only address compliance issues and deliver greater business results, but to also provide greater value for money across the board. Technology can help, but does not always deliver,” said Towards Maturity’s CEO, Laura Overton.

“The benchmark results offer invaluable insights and will show finance-sector L&D professionals how to make faster decisions to increase learning’s impact on business results, deliver greater value for money through learning innovation, engage learners more effectively and speed up the application of learning in the workplace and increase the sharing of good practice,” added Overton.

Finance-sector L&D professionals will also be able to understand how their current approaches compare with the top learning performers in the finance sector and beyond.

The event addresses the lack of independent insight based on sector-specific benchmarking data to help increase the impact of learning and uses the market intelligence of Towards Maturity’s unique benchmark data gathered since 2003.

At the event, there will be an opportunity to find out more about what some of the top learning performing companies, including Thomson Reuters, are doing. There will also be opportunities to network with others and discuss the implications for addressing business-critical skills areas and improving performance and results.
