Totara Learning wins Talented Learning Corporate Extended Enterprise System award
Totara Learning has won a 2019 Talented Learning Award in the Corporate Extended Enterprise System category.
Totara Learn was awarded the win thanks to the fact it is open source, empowering Totara Partners and customers alike with the freedom to innovate and design successful extended enterprise solutions, as well as the low-cost entry point which makes it an accessible, great-value option for businesses of all sizes.
Some of the key features that make Totara Learn ideal for extended enterprise LMS projects include its audiences functionality, whereby learners can be divided into groups for targeted learning, hierarchies for more streamlined learning management for different groups both across and outside the organisation and a secure learning environment, which can be tailored and personalised based on roles, location and the learner’s relationship with the organisation.
Lars Hyland, Chief Learning Officer at Totara Learning, said: “We are delighted to receive recognition again from Talented Learning which highlights how effective Totara Learn is as a corporate extended enterprise platform. The freedom to deeply brand the learning experience and to openly serve very large user communities are two particular strengths. The flexibility of Totara open technology also is very well suited to meeting the workplace learning needs of a very wide range of organisations and industry sectors.”
Just some of Totara’s extended enterprise customers include Samsung, Sony, Shimano, American Cancer Society, Vaillant, Axeda, CAAi, British Dental Association, TuGo, Teaching Matters, CBD College, Walters People and OurRelationship, all of whom have seen impressive results through their use of Totara platforms.
As John Leh, CEO and Lead Analyst at Talented Learning says: “Extended enterprise learning solutions must attract, engage and often sell to people who voluntarily choose to consume instructional content. In contrast with employees or students, these audiences can’t be forced to complete training ‘assignments’. Instead, their learning solutions are more self directed. This voluntary learning mindset is why successful extended enterprise solutions often include tools that blend marketing, business strategy, content development and promotion, social engagement, customer relationship management, ecommerce and more.”
This is Totara Learning’s first award under Talented Learning’s new awards format, and follows two Best LMS Thought Leader wins from the company in both 2016 and 2017.
