One year on: Totara LMS at Learning Technologies 2012

Back in January 2011, Totara LMS was launched at the Learning Technologies Conference in London, the biggest and most important date in the eLearning calendar in the UK. An impressive first year saw a global partner/reseller network established, currently standing at over 30 partners, as well as over 80 organisations selecting Totara as their LMS. A real buzz was generated at the show which has continued throughout the year.
The Totara Vision
From a simple concept; that open source software, developed with an active community, can deliver real benefits in learning and development for corporate organisations, comes a big vision; to transform corporate learning. How do we do that? Through five key points:

Innovation through the Totara Ecosystem
During these last 12 months Totara has benefitted significantly from a 'community ecosystem' which encourages contribution and input to improve Totara not only from the Totara core team, but also the wider community of partners and clients. This has resulted in the rapid integration of features that partners and clients alike want from their LMS.
