Totara LMS launches in China at the Forum for Training and Development of Chinese Enterprises
Totara LMS, the custom distribution of Moodle for corporate enterprises, was launched at the 7th annual Forum on the Training and Development of Chinese Enterprises conference in Shanghai last week. There was great interest in the potential of the new Chinese version of Totara LMS, particularly with regard to the lack of per user licence fees in a country with some very large enterprises.
Deland Lin, the Managing Director of Kineo China commented : “There is a lot of interest in how to develop and deploy e-learning cost-effectively in China. Totara provides enterprises with the ability to create sophisticated and flexible learning portals for staff without incurring per user licence fees. Totara LMS can reduce a corporate enterprise's learning management costs significantly whilst providing some of the most advanced learning management functionality available today. The new Totara distribution of Moodle is open source and available on a subscription basis which provides ongoing support and enhancements.
