The Training Foundation nominated for e-learning age industry award

A panel of experts have decided to nominate The Training Foundation for the e.learning age industry award for outstanding achievement - to be presented at a gala dinner at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London on October 13th.

The primary objective of the e.learning awards is to recognise excellence in the e-learning industry - the programmes, projects and strategies which have enjoyed the greatest success this year.

Awards will be judged by the eLearning Network in its capacity as the industry's independent association, and will acknowledge that winners have made an especially valuable contribution to their organisation or clients' fortunes. Judges will look for work which has left a legacy or benchmark for peers in the industry to aspire to.

A distinction of the e-learning awards is that they recognise contributions through the eyes of learners themselves - the users - as well as the suppliers. The judges will ensure that nominations in certain categories are only accepted from users or their organisations, and not from the vendors themselves.

In this way, the awards ceremony recognises unique, outstanding work and reflects the impartiality of the eLearning Network and e-learning age magazine.
