The Training Foundation seeks trainers

Learning NewsThe Training Foundation

The Training Foundation is seeking to expand its training team to accommodate growing levels of demand for Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP) courses around the country.

Linda Galilee, Director of Training for The Training Foundation explained why: "Demand for places on our publicly scheduled TAP course programme is increasing month by month. At the same time we are running an ever-greater number of courses for major organisations on their premises. We now need to set in place arrangements to ensure that we can accommodate future growth, by recruiting and training a number of suitably qualified contractors."

The Certified Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP) consists of five unique, assessable models. Underpinned by 21 competencies, TAP provides an integrated framework for career development ranging from one-to-one coaching through to a Diploma in Learning Facilitation Skills. The programme offers five Certifications, based on objective assessment of applicants' skills, in Training Delivery, Training Design & Development, Facilitation, Coaching and Learning Centre Support.

The new roles will involve delivery of training courses, preparation of course materials and content ready for delivery, preparation of training room, and regular liaison with the customer and colleagues.
