Unicorn Training to Support Money Advice Service with Industry-Leading Learning Content

London, UKLearning NewsThe Access Group

Unicorn Training is supporting government efforts to provide impartial financial advice to all by helping the Money Advice Service develop appropriate staff conduct and behaviours in the areas of governance, risk, compliance and workplace skills.

The independent Money Advice Service (MAS) gives advice and guidance to help people improve their finances, tools and calculators to keep track of finances and plan ahead, and provides individual support in person, over the phone and online.

MAS employees can now be confident they will be up-to-date and on top of the latest FCA regulatory requirements through the sector-leading content of Unicorn’s ComplianceServe suite.

In addition, through Unicorn’s partnership with AXELOS, a joint venture between the UK Government (Cabinet Office) and Capita plc, MAS staff will benefit from World Class cyber awareness learning to help protect sensitive customer information.

MAS has also put personal and professional development at the heart of its latest investment in staff training, with access to the Leaning Heroes’ Workplace Skills library through Unicorn. Learning Heroes use short, characterful learning videos that deliver information in a way that is fun and easy to digest. Topics include Health and Safety, HR, Sales, Project Management and Personal Development.

Mark Jones, Unicorn Commercial Director, said: “We are delighted to be supporting MAS in embedding customer focused behaviors within their staff. All the solutions we are delivering for MAS meet the demand for bitesize online, Just-In-Time activities that deliver memorable, effective learning, which is outside the ordinary.”

John Penberthy-Smith, Customer Director at the Money Advice Service said: "It is vital for us to ensure that our employees are in the best position to provide our customers with the money guidance they need to really make a difference to their lives. Ensuring that staff are fully up-to-date with the latest regulations and skills is the key to this."
