Practical tips for creating interactive video elearning games
Plymouth, UKLearning NewsSponge
Organisations and learning professionals can go behind the scenes of a project to create a management skills elearning game using interactive video.
A webinar by award-winning elearning provider, Sponge UK will offer a practical, step-by-step guide to the process from the initial game concept, through the planning, design, filming and development, to the finished article.
According to Ambient Insight, the game-based learning market is growing rapidly and is forecast to be worth $2.3 billion by 2017.
Sponge’s Managing Director, Louise Pasterfield, said: “Games are such a popular topic within elearning and our clients are increasingly asking for them to be incorporated into their solutions.
"We find compliance and health and safety are currently the most popular areas for elearning games but we wanted to explore how games can be used to improve soft skills.
"This webinar will be of interest to organisations and learning professionals who want to find out what is possible in the field of games and explore the practicalities of design and development rather than just the theory.”
There will be a live demonstration of the game and a chance for the audience to play it themselves afterwards.
It has been organised in response to high demand at Europe’s largest L&D event, Learning Technologies 2015, where Sponge UK hosted two seminars on the topic.
Sponge UK was named Elearning Development Company of the Year at the Elearning Awards in November 2014 and is short-listed for Learning Provider of the Year at the Learning Awards 2015 which take placed on Thursday, February 5.
