Speakers from Baker Hughes, Schneider Electric, and Deutsche Bahn join international researchers and industry experts for the December 2 event in Berlin and online.

Munich, Germany – Speexx has announced the agenda for Speexx Exchange 2026, bringing senior HR and L&D professionals together at Hotel InterContinental Berlin and online on December 2. Organized together with 360Learning, the event will explore the theme “The New Frontier for HR and L&D,” examining how AI is changing work and the decisions organizations face in developing their people.

Speakers from organizations including Baker Hughes, Schneider Electric, and Deutsche Bahn will join international researchers and industry experts to connect enterprise experience with emerging evidence. The program gives leaders responsible for people development an opportunity to compare approaches, challenge assumptions, and discuss implementation with peers facing similar responsibilities.

The agenda: AI, enterprise experience, and leading change

AI strategy expert Dr. Markus Bernhardt will deliver the keynote, “The New Frontier Is Not Where the Noise Is,” examining how roles, decisions, and capability are being redesigned beyond the immediate attention on AI tools and pilots.

David James, CLO at 360Learning, will bring The Learning & Development Podcast to the live stage. With over one million downloads, the podcast will take its conversations on the future of L&D directly to the audience in “New Frontiers in HR & L&D: Views from the Edge.” The session will feature Veronica Cataleta, Talent Management & Learning Director-Enterprise Functions at Baker Hughes and Isidora Pintor Willcock, Talent Growth & Development Manager at Indra Group, exploring how organizations define their priorities and turn them into action.

In a session titled “Working at the Jagged Edge: Turning Tension into Opportunity,” Anja Thiemann, VP Global Leadership Academy at Schneider Electric, and Tanja Stepanchuk, Senior Consultant for AI Governance, Data & Organizational Development at DB, will examine competing demands such as speed and care, or efficiency and quality. Interactive breakouts will give participants space to explore these tensions in their own work.

Donald H. Taylor will bring a research perspective to the discussion with “The Reality Check: What Does the Data Say?” Drawing on AI in L&D: Around the Core, the session will examine evidence that can inform decisions about AI in learning and development.

The afternoon will also feature “Becoming a Changemaker at the Frontier,” a practical working session with Laura Overton and Giovanni Giamminola, author of the Amazon bestseller, The Augmented Manager, focused on the judgment required to lead change. Jo Cook will once again be the online host and moderator for the event, bringing online attendees into the room virtually to create the quality hybrid experience that Speexx Exchange is known for. The closing discussion will invite participants in Berlin and online to consider what they will do differently using their takeaways from the day.

A meeting point for leaders shaping people development

The combination of enterprise perspectives, research, and working sessions makes Speexx Exchange a forum for substantive professional dialogue. Participants can examine the reasoning behind different approaches and discuss how those choices apply within their own organizations.

“HR and L&D leaders are making decisions today that will influence how their organizations work for years to come. They need space to challenge assumptions and discuss difficult questions openly with people who understand the responsibility,” said Armin Hopp, Founder of Speexx. “That is the purpose of Speexx Exchange. We want people to leave with a sharper view of what deserves their attention and greater confidence in the decisions they take back to their organizations.”

Join in Berlin or online

Speexx Exchange 2026 will take place on December 2 at Hotel InterContinental Berlin, with all sessions streamed live for online participants. The program combines speaker sessions and interactive discussions with opportunities to connect with peers throughout the day.
