ICF Germany Completes Independent Audit of the Speexx Team Coaching Framework, Setting New Quality Benchmarks
Speexx becomes the first organization to pass an independent ICF audit of a team coaching framework, setting a new benchmark for quality.
Munich, Germany – 26th of March 2026
The German Chapter of the International Coaching Federation (ICF Germany) and Speexx today announced the successful completion of its first ever independent audit, evaluating Speexx Team Coaching Framework. The audit was carried out as part of the actions defined within the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two organizations in 2025.
As team coaching continues to grow as a strategic lever for organizational development, ensuring consistent quality across digital and global delivery models has become increasingly critical. This initiative reflects a shared commitment by ICF Germany and Speexx to advance transparency, rigor, and professional standards in the evolving coaching ecosystem.
A team of experts selected by ICF Germany conducted the audit in accordance with the standards of the International Coaching Federation, requiring specific indicators for team coaching competencies. The audit was planned and performed to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the Team Coaching Framework is free of material misstatement and included examining, on a test basis, evidence supporting the indicators and activities in the Team Coaching Framework.
Based on the work performed, the Speexx Team Coaching Framework was found to be aligned, in all material respects, with the audit criteria derived from the ICF Team Coaching Competencies. The expert reviewers reached a unanimous conclusion that the framework reflects the core principles, competencies, and ethical expectations defined within the ICF standards, and that its design, structure, and documented processes demonstrate a coherent and professionally grounded approach to team coaching practice. No material deviations from the defined audit criteria were identified, and the framework provides a consistent foundation for high-quality, standards-aligned team coaching delivery.
Cristina Mühl, Immediate Past President of ICF Germany and Project Manager Team Coaching Framework Audit, said:
“Team coaching is becoming increasingly important in organizations, while the demand for transparent professional standards continues to grow. Evaluations like this help make quality visible and provide valuable orientation for organizations, providers, and coaches alike. This audit is an important step toward strengthening quality in team coaching at scale and it demonstrates what is possible when providers actively engage with professional standards and invite external validation.”
Armin Hopp, Founder and President of Speexx, added:
“At Speexx, we believe that scaling coaching must go hand in hand with maintaining and continuously improving quality. The independent audit by ICF Germany was an important step for us in aligning our team coaching framework with established professional standards and strengthening its future development.”
As a pioneering initiative, the evaluation will inform further quality development in digitally supported team coaching and contribute to ongoing professional dialogue, setting a new benchmark for quality and standards alignment in digital coaching.
