Munich – Wednesday, 3rd September 2014 – Speexx, the leading global provider of online language training, has announced that it will be presenting at EDUKWEST’s Multilingualism in Europe Event in London on 17th September.

Organised by EDUKWEST, the event brings together experts from around Europe to give a comprehensive overview of the language-related challenges and opportunities facing different European markets including the UK, German-speaking and Scandinavian countries. Multilingualism in Europe will cover a variety of topics, including what inspires people to start learning a second or even third language, what keeps them motivated throughout the process and how can technology assist them in reaching their goals.

In addition to sponsoring the event, Speexx will be part of the keynote panel. For this, Armin Hopp, Founder and President of Speexx, will showcase why communication-empowered organisations are more agile and profitable and what organisations can do to get the edge.

As part of the event’s pre-coverage, EDUKWEST has also published a new Speexx white paper about data protection in global e-learning projects. Entitled “Navigating Data Protection Regulations in L&D”, the white paper is available for free download here.

“We’re delighted to take part in such a premier event” comments Armin Hopp. “In today’s globalised business world, the ability to communicate across borders with strong foreign language skills is becoming a key competitive advantage. I’m really looking forward to discussing the challenges and opportunities with other experts and getting some fresh insights.”

“International communication skills are key for organisations operating in a globalised world” states Kirsten Winkler, founding editor at EDUKWEST. “We are very much looking forward to Armin Hopp’s keynote presentation to learn more about how global companies can tackle the challenges of international collaboration and communication across borders and feel privileged to have Speexx as our partner for this event.”

Registration for the event is free and seats are limited. The event takes place at The Glasshouse Building, 2 Trematon Walk (Off Wharfdale Road), London N1 9SR. Further details can be found via http://www.edukwest.com/edukwest-live-multilingualism-europe/.
