Practical guidance for international HR and L&D leaders to boost business communications skills.

Munich - Wednesday, 18th September 2013 - Speexx, the leading global provider of online corporate language training, is launching a series of HR English webinars in September and October to coincide with the European Day of Languages, which takes place on 26th September 2013.

Speexx will host a series of 45-minute webinars to provide HR and L&D professionals worldwide with some practical measures for improving their HR English. The free sessions are targeted at speakers of English as a Second Language (ESL), but also at native speakers who want to discuss specific HR and L&D terms used on a global level. Supported by the award-winning virtual classroom technology, the webinar sessions will help organisations leverage their communication skills to an international standard.

The topics will be presented by a professional native language trainer and include the following:

  • 10.00am GMT, Thursday 26th September 2013:
Power Up your HR English - "Compensation and Benefits"

Armin Hopp, Founder and President of Speexx, adds: "Globalisation is accelerating the need for businesses to communicate across borders and HR professionals are recognising the distinct link between communication skills, talent mobility and improving overall business productivity. But unless businesses adopt a truly collaborative approach, the potential for harnessing benefits of language skills will remain greatly underutilised. Our webinar series helps HR and L&D professionals avoid this pitfall by getting the right communication skills within the workplace."

The European Day of Languages is celebrated each year on 26 September. Established by the Council of Europe and the European Union in 2001, its objective is to encourage active language learning across Europe.
