Reed Learning is delighted to announce that all of its face-to-face and virtual courses have now been endorsed by CPD Standards. This comes at a time when membership of professional bodies is expanding and CPD has never been so important.

CPD Standards is the only body that seeks to accredit all forms of CPD activity, including new forms such as coaching or webinars. The organisation aims to raise standards by only accrediting high-quality CPD provision. All of Reed Learning's face-to-face programmes have now been accredited by CPD Standards, with each day's training providing six accredited hours. What’s more, Reed Learning’s breakfast briefings will also be accredited, offering a free, fun way to gain CPD points.

This accreditation comes at a time when CPD is on the rise. Membership of professional bodies is expanding due to an increased focus on regulation and CPD best practice has become a "must have" for all regulatory institutions.

Independent CPD accreditation ensures that learning adheres to best practice principles and is appropriate for formal CPD records.  It guarantees that the CPD activity undertaken is recognised and demonstrates the quality of the education.  Participants benefit from structured and recognised learning that has been assessed and certified.

Amanda Rosewarne of CPD Standards said:"The CPD Standards Office is delighted to have awarded Reed Learning with formal CPD accreditation for its instructor-led training courses and virtual classrooms. By working together, we are championing positive professional development, and the Office is able to support Reed Learning in its mission to make people more effective, confident and capable in the workplace."

Ben Waldman, Product Manager from Reed Learning said, “We’re very pleased with this accreditation, which is testament to the quality of Reed Learning’s face-to-face training. CPD doesn’t have to be a box ticking exercise. By engaging with the learning and taking charge of their own development, people will find meeting their CPD requirements with us a fun and inspiring experience.”

By reworking classic CPD models, creating positive and successful learning experiences and revitalising best practice with accreditation, CPD need no longer be perceived as a requirement or chore, but as a rewarding activity that increases employability, adds to promotional prospects and is a key ingredient of individual job satisfaction.
