Premier IT Group, the workforce performance improvement specialist, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Major Training, a London based company providing IT training for the creative sector.
Premier IT Group, the workforce performance improvement specialist, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Major Training, a London based company providing IT training for the creative sector.
Major Training specialises in the provision of web-based applications and desktop publishing training, complementing Premier IT's strengths in the areas of bespoke business applications, e-learning content development, Microsoft technical and applications training and project management courses. The acquisition provides Premier IT with the opportunity to take a much enlarged training offer to Major Training's customers, as well as offer new creative subjects to Premier IT's existing and future client base.
As part of the agreement, completed last week, the employees of Major Training will transfer their employment to Premier IT and Major Training's operations will move the short distance from Covent Garden to Premier IT's flagship facility in Russell Square, WC1.
Commenting on today's announcement, Ian West, Chairman of Premier IT Group says: "I am delighted that we have been able to complete the acquisition of Major Training. We have co-operated for a number of years and although located less than a mile from each other, there is almost no overlap in our customer base". He continues: "Combining the strengths, experience and knowledge of these two organisations will enable Premier IT to add significant value to our customer offering."
