Denise Hudson Lawson to Present on Solving the Cyber Skills Challenge as Pluralsight supports Learning and Performance Institute’s key event for Learning Professionals for the fourth year running

LONDON– Pluralsight, the enterprise technology learning platform, will be sharing its expertise at LEARNING LIVE 2017 as headline sponsor for the Learning and Performance Institute’s landmark event for the fourth year running. Denise Hudson Lawson, Director EMEA at Pluralsight, will give a presentation at the show on the topic of “Digital Learning and Transformation – how to migrate traditional training methods”. The event takes place at 155 Bishopsgate in the City of London on 6th and 7th of September:

This session will explain how, in the context of businesses transforming their operations to meet the needs of a digital workforce, supply chain and customer base, L&D functions are evolving. By the time a traditional classroom based learning course for a technical skill is identified and scheduled, the needs of the IT or development team will have moved on. Rather, L&D functions are enabling a different model of personalised learning, in which end-users and functional technology teams are able to drive their own learning agendas, supported by clear learning pathways, skills assessment, mentoring and more. The presentation will share real-experience from organisations that have driven this transformation and skills agenda.

Denise Hudson Lawson will speak in the Bishopsgate 2 room on 7th September, from 13.30-14.15. Pluralsight will also be exhibiting in the vendor showcase area, at Stand 16, throughout the event.

Julian Wragg, Vice President, EMEA and APAC, Pluralsight, comments: “Workplace learning has changed dramatically in last five years. With the increasing reliance of all organisations on technology to support and grow their business, coupled with pace of technology change, learning functions across all industries are having to evolve dramatically. The availability of technology skills assessment and training at scale on an affordable SaaS platform will be a game changer as organisations look to move away from less effective ‘classroom based’ training to a more agile, and flexible digital learning pathway.”

LEARNING LIVE 2017 is strictly limited to qualified titles (e.g. Chief Learning Officer, Head of Learning) from large organisations. The event aims to directly tackle the biggest obstacles faced by senior decision-makers in the workplace learning industry.
