Pluralsight, the global leader in online learning for technology professionals, today announced that it will host its first annual Technology Learning Leadership Summit. This inaugural event will be held at the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. The London summit will be the first of a series of summits Pluralsight will host in Europe, with the next summit taking place in Amsterdam on Thursday, June 16, 2016.

The Technology Learning Leadership Summit will bring together technology leaders and Chief Learning Officers, as well as industry thought leaders and market influencers, for a packed agenda debating one of the core challenges facing businesses today – the global tech skills shortage.

“As technology continues to develop at an ever-increasing pace, companies are struggling to ensure their technical staff have the necessary skills to meet their business objectives,” said Aaron Skonnard, co-founder and CEO of Pluralsight. “With a mission to democratise professional technology learning, we are thrilled to kick off our first annual Technology Learning Leadership Summit, bringing together some of the world’s brightest minds and ideas on keeping enterprises as innovative and competitive as possible.”

During the summit, attendees will hear from Pluralsight customers, including PwC and Telefonica, to get a better understanding of how leading companies are encouraging a culture of continuous learning inside their organisations to address business-critical technology skills.

“Any business wanting to stay at the forefront of innovation knows how critical it is to keep developing IT skills in the organisation,” said Jon Buttriss, CEO of BCS Learning & Development and panel participant at this year’s summit. “New learning technologies are delivering the rapidly developing needs of today’s workforce for tomorrow's ever-evolving digital challenges.”
