NetDimensions (London Stock Exchange, AIM: NETD), a global provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems announced today that Mace Group, the global consultancy and construction firm, has implemented the Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) learning management system.

Known for finding the best solutions to complex property and real estate challenges, Mace will use EKP to provide development and knowledge opportunities to its employees.

Trina Sollis, Head of Learning & Development at Mace said, "As a global company, providing classroom training to almost 3,000 staff members and centralizing it at our head office was proving to be a big challenge. The logistics and volume of training needed in a classroom format made our goal near impossible to achieve.

"Although the nuts and bolts behind EKP are extensive and sophisticated -- to the layman it is easy to use and intuitive. EKP does not turn users off by being too complex on the surface."

Apart from training, EKP will also be used as a knowledge center for uploading guides and manuals, news items and presentations by senior executives.

Sollis explained: "EKP ensures that we can continue to offer accessible and flexible development opportunities to our employees. The cost of travel and venue rental expenses should not prevent them from taking advantage of development opportunities."

EKP to power Mace's Learning at Work Day

Mace Group supports National Learning at Work Day, the biggest annual celebration of workplace learning, which aims to draw attention to the importance of workplace learning and skills in order to adapt and thrive in the economic downturn.

Mace Group Learning is at the forefront of the company's Learning at Work Day plans. EKP will be used to deliver a series of bespoke Mace e-learning courses and ensure its employees are "Skilled for Success".

"We will deliver 'going back to basics' training, as well as processes training. Our goal is to continue offering development and knowledge opportunities to all our employees quickly and efficiently, despite these challenging times," added Sollis.

"We are delighted to support Mace's business strategy to continue providing its staff with development opportunities at reduced costs," said Pat Macpherson, NetDimensions' Account Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. "It is essential to optimize resources to meet the training and development needs of employees without the need to be away from projects or clients for significant periods of time."
