People Alchemy will be launching the new Alchemy Learning Pathway (ALP) 2.0 at this year’s World of Learning exhibition on the 29th and 30th of September 2015 at the NEC in Birmingham. The Alchemy Learning Pathway 2.0 will come with an all new user interface and clever functionality.

This will be the 23rd World of Learning exhibition which is the renowned premier event for all Learning & Development professionals. The exhibition consists of exciting seminars and unique conferences hosted by the industry leading speakers from around the world. This event draws a wide variety of L&D experts which makes it one of the major learning events in the world.

L&D professionals know that experience is a far greater contributor to proficiency than any number of training courses. And this is why it takes time for people to become proficient at their role. The ALP 2.0 is a simple but powerful SaaS solution which accelerates that journey to proficiency and increases people’s performance. It focuses on the experiential and social aspects of learning; in effect, it ‘manages’ the 70 and 20 parts of the 70:20:10 learning model.

The idea is to achieve immediate learning transfer. People are gaining new knowledge and skills as part of their existing workflow. So rather than learning the theory behind something, then trying to remember this information when they need it one day in the future, they are practising on-the-job. This builds capability in the workplace which allows people to perform their tasks whilst they learn. This experiential approach is invaluable for them gaining new knowledge and putting new skills into practice at the same time.

The Alchemy Learning Pathway is already being used by many blue chip companies, but now the new ALP 2.0 will bring a fresh user interface and new intelligent functionalities. There are off the shelf pathways to give new starters the best possible way to understand everything they need to know with a structured learning approach over a period of time. Alternatively, organisations can create their own the custom-built pathways.

ALP 2.0 is a great way to make new employees feel welcome from day one. After all, they are the most valuable asset. The Alchemy Learning Pathway is an easy but powerful way to accelerate the journey to proficiency. It is a great way for new and existing managers to feel in control. One user speaking about the original Alchemy Learning Pathway said 'Simple format, brief and concise chapters which get to the nub of the issue. As a new manager it is encouraging to be able to immediately implement positive actions for change, and it puts me in the driver’s seat by making me feel more in control of where I am going and how to get there.'

Visit our stand D10 to find out more about the Alchemy Learning Pathway 2.0 and how it works. Have a play on the new interface and experience the updated version. We look forward to seeing you at the end of September.
