Omniplex Learning, the global eLearning and development solutions provider, today announced it had been awarded ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management.

Omniplex Learning provides a complete suite of eLearning services to over 3000 clients. These range from FTSE 100 companies to financial institutions and NHS trusts.

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard that defines how organisations manage information securely with the appropriate security controls.

“We’ve invested significantly in information security over the last 12 months to address the general increase in threat levels seen globally across all markets. We built our operations and processes to meet the highest standards of information security and best practices demanded by our clients.

ISO certification is an essential step in acknowledging the high standards the team have implemented across the business. It’s good to have this formally recognised,” Commented David Byrne, Omniplex Learning Group’s CFO.

Omniplex Learning, which sells its own eLearning services and is the UK strategic partner for global brands such as Docebo, Articulate and Vyond, has also just secured its place on the UK Government’s public sector procurement framework - G-Cloud 13, which is managed by Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

“It’s timely that with ISO 27001 accreditation, we can now offer public sector customers eLearning services with the reassurance that we meet the vital security information operating standards they look for in a supplier”, added Byrne.
