Tata Interactive Systems’ Customer-Centricity Learning games developed for Cigna won Gold in Best eLearning Design category.

Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), a pioneer and global leader in learning solutions has won the 2013 LearnX Asia Pacific award in the Best Game or Simulation category for developing the learning program for its client Cigna.  Cigna wanted to move from a customer experience-based approach to a customer-centric one. TIS leveraged its experience in the Serious Games domain to develop three game-based courses, to be played sequentially, focusing on the key principles of customer-centricity. The three game-based courses are:

  • Centri-CITY:  30-minute Role-Playing Game with 3 levels of complexity

  • Customer Centricity Reality Game: 30 minutes of Immersive Learning with 2 real-life examples of customer interaction

  • NPS City: 30 minutes of play time with the mission to improve Net Promoter Score (NPS)

Customer-centricity is about putting the customer at the center of every decision. This is the core concept of the first two games – Centri-CITY and Customer Centricity Reality Game. Every organization aspires to have customers who actively promote their brand -- the higher the number of promoters, the higher the Net Promoter Score (NPS), a metric to assess customer loyalty. Customer-centric organizations typically have a high NPS and this is one of the key learning points of game 3.

Customer-centricity is a high-visibility corporate initiative at CIGNA and to enable this change quickly it was imperative to have managers experience a challenging and engaging learning intervention, hence a gaming solution. A key aspect of this solution was the fact that we were able to deliver these games within a near impossible time line of 8 weeks. This was possible only because of our investments in building product formats that enable us to produce solutions rapidly and deliver on time every single occasion.”, says Kshitij Nerurkar, Chief Operating Officer at Tata Interactive Systems.
