Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), the pioneer and global leader custom learning solutions sets up Centers of Excellence to deliver outstanding customer service

Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), a division of Tata Industries Limited, supports key organizational initiatives through its multifarious offerings.

TIS has decided to move to an account based delivery structure in order to serve their customers in most effective & efficient way. The new structure was suggested by a task force at TIS comprising of cross functional senior management team members that reviewed models & processes for increasing workforce engagement. The new model was suggested as focused account responsibility to delight customers and sustain workforce motivation.

The new delivery group structure will have work units and 6 centers of excellence. Work units shall excel in delivery whereas Centers of Excellence shall foster thought leadership and core expertise for differentiated products. With dedicated teams, the new structure will aid building long term relationships with customers. TIS clients will now interact with a common set of resources and can relate with a single team handling their numerous projects.

The 6 Center of Excellence (COE) comprising of senior members from various business units would provide thought leadership & would be responsible for the successful execution of projects in their respective domain of expertise. The Center of Excellence (COE) is:

1. Simulations & TOPSIM
2. Serious Games
3. 3D Animation
4. Mobile/Tablet Applications
5. Portal & Custom Applications
6. Products- Learning Management Systems, PTS, & Cybertest

“The primary goal behind this change is to delight our key clients and maximize the business we do with them. The new structure will bring in joint ownership of client & accounts between the senior designers, business managers, vertical teams and sales person handling the account”, says Pinaki Gupta, Chief of Operations, TATA Interactive Systems.

The new structure will sought to unlock talent from business units and enable resources to move across projects. The Center of Excellence will facilitate hassle free project delivery and retain clients.
