Tata Interactive Systems and Ramakrishna Mission produce short animation clips on Swami Vivekananda's life and teachings

Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), the pioneer and global leader custom learning solutions has developed several short animation films on life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda which were inaugurated on the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at Ramakrishna Mission- New Delhi, India.

Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), the pioneer and global leader in E-Learning and Simulations, has supported Ramakrishna Mission in conducting large number of value education programmes in educational institutions globally by developing short animation films. These were released on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary on October 23, 2011 by Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi under the Awakening India initiative.

These short animation film series are based on fundamental messages by Swami Vivekananda to his followers. The first set of 5 animation films, produced by TIS, were released in the function by Shri Ajay Maken, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Women and Child Development, India.

"It is a pleasure working with the TIS team. They are knowledgeable, committed and cooperative", said Swami Shantatmananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi. The animation films are based on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekanada developed in language and context that children understand and appreciate. The company in the past has also developed series of Indian mythological stories televised on Cartoon Network. It has an in-house animation studio with technical, creative and production capabilities to deliver large projects and prove their animation capabilities.

"It's been an excellent experience for our team to work on these animations. We hope that these series will inspire the youth to internalize and follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda in their daily life", said Manisha Mohan, Sr. Vice President-Animation, Tata Interactive Systems.
