Unprecedented growth for TATA Interactive Systems

TATA Interactive Systems (TIS), has revealed that 2004 was a year of unprecedented company growth for this leading global e-learning provider as well as being a year of unrivalled success, in learning and staff development terms, for its client organisations throughout the UK and the rest of Europe.

TIS celebrated this continuing success by holding a prestigious gala dinner for its some 140 of its key clients in the UK and Europe at London's exclusive Bombay Brasserie restaurant on 10th February.

According to Sambit Mohapatra, head of TIS in the UK and Europe: "In 2004, TIS grew to a team of 834 people globally. We won four international awards, and were shortlisted for several others last year - which is a testament to the quality of our products.

"In 2004, we added 60 new major clients worldwide - including 12 in the UK alone. During the year, TIS also expanded its operations into the Far East, with a new office being opened in Tokyo."

Mohapatra added that the e-learning projects completed last year for TIS clients in the UK and Europe covered topics including:

He added that the learning delivery medium employed varied - ranging from intranet based delivery to handheld devices such as PDAs used to access training.

"More than anything else, we have developed some excellent relationships with our customers and that is what we prize most," he said.
