Major award for TATA Interactive Systems

TATA Interactive Systems (TIS), a global leader in e-learning, has been awarded the Brandon Hall Award of Excellence in Learning 2004 (Silver Award) for its GSK College Training Programme on Business Improvement & Planning.

. The GSK entry was awarded the Silver in the Web-based Custom Content / Special Strength - Interactivity category at a ceremony held at the Training Fall Expo in San Fransisco on 12th October.

There were three categories of awards:

- Outstanding Learning Programs and Initiatives
- Web-based Custom Content
- Innovative Technology.

The Web-based Custom Content category was divided into four sub-categories:

- Full Course
- Special Strength - Interactivity
- Special Strength - Use of Media
- Special Strength - Simulation.

"Naturally, we are delighted to add yet another major internationally recognised award to our burgeoning, but virtual, trophy cabinet," commented TIS's chief executive, Sanjaya Sharma. "This award further cements our conviction that concentrating on such concepts as quality, excellence and fitness-for-purpose brings success - not only for ourselves but, just as importantly, for our clients who commission and use the e-learning materials we produce."
