Sparks at TATA Interactive Systems

Peter Sparks has joined TATA Interactive Systems (TIS) as business development director with special responsibilities for developing TIS's business throughout mainland Europe.

Most recently, the director of sales for northern Europe with EMC Computer Systems (UK) Ltd, Peter Sparks spent a couple of years as Pathlore Software's channel manager for northern Europe. Before joining Pathlore, he spent 28 years in the IT world, half of it in applications development - as a programmer, systems analyst and project manager with companies including Mars, Rolls-Royce and Morgan Guarantee - before becoming a sales specialist for organisations such as Pansophic, Computer Associates and Softworks.

Sambit Mohapatra, general manager of TIS in the UK, commented: "Peter brings a wealth of sales experience - especially in the e-learning industry. With the increasing interest in e-learning throughout Europe that TIS is detecting, Peter's skills should prove invaluable."
