Mediazoo Wins Two Golds at New York Festivals as Story-Led Approach Drives Global Recognition
Mediazoo takes two Golds at the New York Festivals, with standout work for HSBC and Tiffany & Co., recognised on the global stage at the Storytellers Gala. A big win for story-first thinking, proving that in a crowded, noisy landscape, it’s bold, human narratives that truly cut through. Fuelled by its ‘Storytelling at Scale’ proposition, the award-winning work showcases the power of combining strategic narrative with world class creative execution. “In a world saturated with content, it’s the strength of the story that sets our work apart”, says CEO, Giles Smith, at Mediazoo Group
22/05/26 – London, UK: Mediazoo, the Human Performance Specialists, have secured two prestigious Gold Tower awards at the 2026 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards. The winning films were produced for HSBC Global and Tiffany & Co., with a further Finalist Diploma awarded for a third Tiffany entry.
The wins were announced at the New York Festivals Storytellers Gala, held virtually on 21 May 2026. The ceremony celebrates the world's best storytelling in film and branded content, drawing entries from leading agencies and production companies across the globe. Mediazoo competed against that international field and came away with two of the event's top honours.
The Gold Tower for HSBC Global recognised True Financial Crime - Human Trafficking, a corporate social responsibility film tackling one of the most serious issues facing the financial sector. The second Gold Tower was awarded to Archives, a branded content film produced for Tiffany & Co. A Finalist Diploma was also awarded for We Craft Expressions of Joy, a brand image film produced as part of Tiffany's employee value proposition work.
The winning work reflects Mediazoo’s belief that in a world of more channels, more content and more noise, it is not volume that drives impact, but clarity of narrative. This approach sits at the heart of the company’s recently launched “Storytelling at Scale” proposition, which brings together S2T, its Centre for Story, Strategy & Training, with its Creative Studio to help organisations define and deliver powerful stories at enterprise scale.
Liz Robinson, Creative Studio Managing Director at Mediazoo, said: “Winning at the New York Festivals is a fantastic recognition of the work our teams create with clients around the world. These projects demonstrate the power of starting with a strong story and bringing it to life in a way that truly connects with audiences.”
Giles Smith, CEO of Mediazoo Group, added: “Success at the New York Festivals is a strong reminder that craft still matters. In a world saturated with content, it’s the clarity and strength of the story that sets the work apart – and ultimately makes it memorable.
These awards underline the importance of getting the story right first. When you define a clear, human narrative, it cuts through, whether that’s for global brands like HSBC or Tiffany & Co. Huge congratulations to our teams and clients who continue to push that standard with every piece of work.”
Mediazoo’s storytelling approach is rooted in S2T, its Centre for Story, Strategy & Training, where former senior journalists and experience TV producers work with organisations to shape narrative before any production begins. This is then brought to life through the company’s Creative Studio, producing films and content designed to engage audiences at scale.
The New York Festivals wins follow continued investment in Mediazoo’s storytelling capabilities, including the launch of its new Spokesperson Academy and an enhanced S2T offer, designed to equip leaders and teams with the skills to communicate with clarity and confidence.
