Zurich,Learning NewsLINE Communications

LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading providers of learning and communications will be speaking at the Swiss e-learning Conference in Zurich, 8 and 9 of April, on its work with the UK National Health Service Leadership Program.

The event which focuses on products and solutions for HR development, training and e-learning includes a full conference programme of presentations, panel discussions and workshops.

This year’s event has a theme of Emotions in Learning and LINE’s General Manager for Switzerland, Ade Derbyshire-Moore will be speaking on this theme on the second day at 15.30.

His presentation is titled: E-Learning that moves you to tears: the UK National Health Service Leadership Program.

Abstract:

The British health system is in crisis, arguably due to a lack of strong leadership within the organisation. LINE Communications, in a consortium led by KPMG, has been creating powerful blended leadership programs that are not afraid to use emotion as a catalyst for change. Come and see how we did it.

Ade Derbyshire-Moore, LINE’s General Manager for Switzerland commented, "Once again we're delighted to be sponsoring the only e-learning conference in Switzerland and are particularly excited about the topic: Emotions in Learning. Learners need to be emotionally involved with what they're learning to truly learn and yet e-learning has the reputation of being extremely dry and process-driven. Our aim this year is to prove otherwise."
