LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading providers of learning and communications solutions is delivering digital training for Volvo Cars renewed model range. The first phase of the training has been timed to coincide with the launch of the new vehicles at the Geneva Motor show, which opens to the public on the 7th of March.

During 2013, Volvo will undertake the most extensive renewal of their range in the company’s history. The renewal is based on Volvo’s human-centred design philosophy: “Designed Around You”. This puts the customer experience firmly at the centre of everything Volvo does and is reflected in the design of the renewed vehicles.

LINE is delivering an innovative digital programme using a range of channels, including e-learning and mobile enabled solutions. The training is being delivered globally to all Volvo Dealerships in 18 languages. The training covers product information, such as the new exterior design, technology and interior features. However the training isn’t just about the products; through interactive on-line scenarios it also enables Sales Consultants to learn how to deliver a premium experience to both new and existing Volvo customers.

The training interventions are being supported by a sustained communications campaign which is being rolled out throughout 2013 and timed with the launch of other new features at events, such as the Frankfurt Motor Show.

LINE’s Automotive Account Director, Sean Nugent, said: “Working with Volvo Cars is really exciting for LINE, our innovative approach to people-centered learning fits perfectly with Volvo’s renewed range. We are really pleased to be able to work with Volvo to help them deliver a premium customer experience.”
