LINE shortlisted for IVCA Awards 2012
LINE Communications, a leading European provider of learning and communications solutions has been shortlisted in two categories in the International Visual Communications Association (IVCA) awards for programmes developed for Jaguar Land Rover and BP Plc.
The first, in the Best Digital Communications category is for the Retail Sales Application developed for Jaguar Land Rover using the Apple iPad which has been very well received by sales consultants in dealerships across the globe. The programme provides comprehensive and ongoing performance support, giving retail sales consultants a flexible set of tools for use at the point of sale.
The second short listing in the Best Learning and Development Communications category is for a programme entitled Tough Talks, a series of short films developed for BP Plc by LINE in conjunction with Pukka Films. The films, which are designed to be used in a facilitated face-to-face workshop environment, aim to stimulate thinking about how seemingly innocuous events, unquestioned assumptions and unchallenged behaviours can combine to create a potentially catastrophic situation.
Piers Lea, LINE’s CEO says, “We are delighted to have two of our programmes receive a shortlisting in the IVCA awards. These awards are internationally respected and highly competitive. This independent, external recognition is testament to the quality of these programmes and the results that they have achieved for the organisations who commissioned them.”
The IVCA Awards are recognised as the premier marks of excellence for effective business and public sector communications in video, interactive projects, business television and digital media. The Awards set a standard of excellence and introduce clients to programmes and projects which have made a significant impact on business. The final award winners will be announced at an award ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday 23rd March.
