LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading providers of learning and communications, has been shortlisted for eureleA 2012 award, the European awards for technology supported learning.

The entry, a Fracture Classification programme, developed with the AO Foundation has been shortlisted in the Best Project Impact category. LINE worked with the AO Foundation and specialist surgeons to create a learning programme that combines the best in narrative, gaming and realistic practice. Surgeons of all levels of experience have found that the style of learning helps them properly internalise the AO/Müller Fracture Classification System and gives them ample opportunity to drill and refresh this newly-learnt ability.

Ade Derbyshire-Moore, General Manager of LINE Switzerland says: “I’m delighted to start the year with the good news that LINE and AO have been shortlisted for the eureleA 2012 awards. The Fracture Classification programme has already been awarded a gold award at the recent Elearning Awards in London and this is further recognition of our efforts to create a learning programme that surgeons of all backgrounds and levels of experience can identify with and find absorbing.”

The eureleA - European Award for Technology Supported Learning – aims to identify outstanding projects from the whole spectrum of technology supported learning and teaching. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony at Learntec at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre on January 31th, 2012.
