LINE has scooped a Silver award for Best Leadership Development Programme at the 2012 Brandon Hall Excellence in Talent Management awards. The programme, titled Outstanding Leaders was designed and delivered by LINE, together with programme partner ORConsulting. The blended learning programme forms part of British Airways’ Behaviours for Success programme and comprises a two-day workshop, video scenarios, online and offline activities, printed materials, social networking, blogs and support tools.

Since its launch the programme has received excellent feedback and rigorous evaluation has shown that there is an impressively fast transfer of learning, change in practice and organisational impact. In addition, the programme has been highly cost effective to BA – saving classroom training days and replacing them with online learning - that can then be used again and again throughout the leader’s career.

All of the learning modules, videos and online challenges have also been redesigned for iPad delivery to access cabin crew, who often have difficulty accessing online programme materials as they are frequently on-the-move. These are made available via the BA internal app store.

Andrew Joly, LINE’s Design Director, “This is a proud moment for LINE, our partners at ORConsulting and the BA team. It’s recognition at the highest level for the excellent blend of learning interventions the Outstanding Leaders programme offers and we are delighted that it’s having such as great impact on leaders at British Airways.”

The accolade is the third that LINE has received this year with two IVCA awards already under their belt; one for Best Learning and Development Communications for a series of short films for BP and the other for Best Digital Communications for an iPad based Retail Sales Mobile Application for Jaguar Land Rover.

Now entering its 18th year, the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards Program is one of the most prestigious awards program in the industry.

The awards which have seventy-eight categories across four program areas attract applications from organisations around the world ranging from small, medium, large, and global enterprises, government, not-for-profit, and associations.
