LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading providers of learning and communications, has helped leading agri-business company, Syngenta, take its first steps into technology-based e-learning for 20,000 of its global employees.

LINE has worked with Syngenta to not only create its first customised e-learning content but also to lay down the standards for technology-based training in the future.

Courses created so far include Employee Value Proposition, Health and Safety, Risk Management and Code of Conduct, which Syngenta put forward to the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Awards.

Elena Schoonis, Learning Services Lead at Syngenta says: “We are glad to be working with LINE because they have worked hard to understand our business and our larger learning strategy as well as founding the Syngenta E-Learning Forum where we can discuss and exchange best practice about technology-based and blended learning within Syngenta.”

Ade Derbyshire-Moore, General Manager of LINE Zurich says: “For a fast growing company like Syngenta, learning and communication is integral to continued business success, hence we are delighted to be able to offer them our expertise in this field. Our e-learning framework gives them consistent and cost-effective e-learning content with a strong Syngenta identity, whilst constantly adding new elements to keep the learning varied and engaging.”
