LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading providers of learning and communications content has achieved record first quarter sales in 2010.

With talk of a post recession era in the air and evidence that the green shoots of recovery are beginning to show; LINE has recorded significantly increased sales, up 10% on their previous best first quarter and comfortably exceeding their first quarter sales target. The vast majority of these sales have been made in the corporate sector, reflecting a renewed confidence and a willingness to invest in major learning and communications programmes. Many of the most significant individual sales have been to multinationals with a requirement for large scale learning solutions in multiple language variants. LINE’s market leading expertise in this area has helped them secure a number of new clients this year.

Another key area of strength has been in the sales of learning materials delivered on mobile platforms such as tablets and Smartphones. With mobile phones set to overtake PCs as the most common web access devices by 2013, LINE is pleased to be innovating in this exciting space which is a key growth area for the future.

Steve Ash, Director of Sales and Marketing at LINE says: “This strong performance in the first quarter of the year is a credit to the efforts of the whole LINE team and a ringing endorsement from our clients that we are creating learning and communications solutions that generate tangible business results for them. New technologies are offering exciting opportunities for organisations to incorporate alternative delivery platforms within their learning and communications strategies. LINE is pleased to be able to provide advice, support and creative innovation in these areas.”
