LEO Learning, the global market leader in digital learning innovation, is celebrating its fifth birthday this July.

Since launch, LEO has grown substantially, winning multiple awards, including Learning Company of the Year and Learning Designer of the Year at the Learning Technologies Awards in 2017, several DevLearn DemoFest awards, as well as recognition from Brandon Hall, Training Industry and Training Magazine.

“I think LEO’s success is based on a long history of innovation,” said Piers Lea, LEO’s Chief Strategy Officer. “It's part of our DNA to constantly strive to find new ways to deliver value to clients and this not only lives on but is thriving.”

In July 2014, LEO was formed following the merger of two leading UK-based learning vendors, Epic and LINE. The merger ultimately led to the formation of LEO’s parent company, Learning Technologies Group (LTG), which now employs approximately 800 people globally, with reported revenue in the financial year 2018 of more than £93m.

LEO itself now employs more than 130 people worldwide, with offices in London, Brighton and Sheffield in the UK, and Atlanta in the US. The company is part of LTG’s best-of-breed learning and talent businesses, which include Rustici Software, Watershed, PeopleFluent, gomo, PRELOADED, Eukleia, Affirmity, Vector VMS, Breezy HR and Instilled.

“We’re proud of our achievements. The group of people we have here are outstanding and we’re all anticipating the next five years being equally, if not more, rewarding than the last,” said James Greenwood, LEO’s Managing Director. “To remain leaders in our field, and to continue to deliver transformational custom learning solutions to our global client base - whilst embracing the future of learning technologies - is what we do best.”
