LearnUpon Closes $750,000 Seed Funding Round, Announces 100th Customer
Dublin, Ireland, January 17th 2014 - LearnUpon, a cloud based Learning Management System (LMS), today announces the recent closing of its $750,000 seed funding round.
The round, led by a US based angel investor and supported by Enterprise Ireland, will allow LearnUpon build on its rapid growth to date and help confirm its position as the number one cloud based LMS solution for training companies and SMEs. The funding will be used to expand LearnUpon’s presence in its primary markets of the United States, Canada and the UK, expand its team and accelerate planned new feature releases throughout 2014.

Less than 18 months after launch, LearnUpon has also confirmed its 100th customer, of which 40% are based in the United States with a further 34% in the UK. LearnUpon also has customers in Canada, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands and Spain and continues to expand into new markets off the back of its growing reputation.
LearnUpon will be exhibiting at its first US learning technology conference later this month when it takes a stand at the upcoming ASTD TechKnowledge in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 22-24, 2014.
