Trust and social systems at work: Julian Stodd on Learning Now tv
On October’s Learning Now tv Julian Stodd discusses his latest research project, The Landscape of Trust, which considers social and organisational trust, and tools and skills to help build it. Also on this week’s show: Paul Matthews on learning transfer at work and a review of World of Learning 2018.
Social age commentator and author Julian Stodd is on this month’s Learning Now tv talking to Nigel about his research project, ‘The Landscape of Trust’, also the title of his latest book. Julian’s work explores trust within systems, people and technology and he is working on a diagnostic tool to help people to build trust across leadership, organisations and communities.
Learning strategist and author, Paul Matthews talks to Kim Edwards about learning transfer, which Paul refers to as the ‘elephant in the room’. Paul’s insights aim to expose why, in 2018, ‘learning transfer’ is still often avoided by L&D professionals and how we can get to grips with it.
This month’s Learning Now tv is on Thursday October 25 at 10 am UK time. And the show will be available on catch up from the LNTV website three days later.
