PeopleBench acquires Resilience @ Work framework
Workforce analytics provider adds resilience measurement capability and expands beyond education sector.
PeopleBench has acquired Resilience @ Work, a psychometric framework used to measure and develop workplace resilience, in a move that extends its offering beyond the education sector.
Announced on 21 April in London, the acquisition brings together PeopleBench’s workforce analytics platform with the Resilience @ Work framework, developed by organisational psychologist Dr Kathryn McEwen. The combined offer focuses on measuring and developing capabilities linked to organisational performance, including adaptability, stress management and team collaboration.
PeopleBench has worked primarily with education systems since 2019, providing data and benchmarking on workplace culture, engagement and retention. The addition of Resilience @ Work introduces a capability focused on individual and team resilience, with application across a wider range of sectors.
Fleur Johnston, CEO of PeopleBench, said: ‘Resilience is no longer just a wellbeing conversation, it is fundamental to sustainable organisational performance. By bringing Resilience @ Work into the PeopleBench ecosystem, we are combining workforce data with a resilience psychometric scale.’
Resilience @ Work will continue to operate as a separate product within PeopleBench. Existing practitioners and partners will continue delivering the framework, with access to additional data insights and tools through the platform.
The framework is used internationally by organisations, psychologists and leadership teams to assess how individuals and teams respond to pressure, change and uncertainty.
Paul Chudleigh, UK and Ireland lead for Resilience @ Work and principal business psychologist at Neural Harmony, said: ‘In a more complex working environment, resilience is about equipping individuals and teams with the capabilities they need to perform effectively.’
The companies said the acquisition would also support the development of accredited resilience coaching and training programmes, alongside workforce analytics.
The integration reflects a shared focus on linking resilience measurement with organisational performance and workforce development.
