Go1 launches Morgan as standalone brand for learning follow-up
Go1 gives its AI learning assistant a broader remit around reinforcement and manager follow-up, with tools in Teams and Slack.
Go1 has launched Morgan as a standalone brand for AI tools that coordinate learning follow-up through Microsoft Teams and Slack.
Morgan builds on Go1’s learning content and technology, extending its offer into reinforcement and support for employees and managers after training.
The assistant gives employees learning recommendations, reminders and access to their assignments through Teams and Slack. Administrators and managers handle programmes and reporting in Go1 Learn.
Go1’s plans for Morgan include automated follow-up, progress tracking and escalation of issues, alongside knowledge checks, reflection questions and confidence prompts. Administrators set boundaries, approve sensitive actions and review outcomes.
Chris Eigeland, Go1’s chief executive, said: ‘Learning remains the foundation, but assigning a course or completing training cannot be the finish line.’
Morgan is generally available, with further capabilities to follow.
Go1 released findings from its Workforce Enablement Era survey across the US, UK and Australia alongside the announcement. Among individual contributors, 49% reported having both access to learning and guidance on what would help them progress. Almost half of managers, 48%, cited lack of time as a barrier to following up after learning.
Among the manager group within the survey, 94% said they were often or always expected to support employee development, while 43% received a great deal of guidance on coaching employees or reinforcing learning.
