Former Training Journal editor Debbie Carter dies
Debbie Carter, who edited Training Journal for many years, has died, leaving a lasting legacy in workplace learning journalism.
The workplace learning community is mourning the death of Debbie Carter, the former editor of Training Journal, following news shared by the publication's current editor, Jo Cook.
Carter edited Training Journal for many years, overseeing the UK's longest established publication serving learning and development professionals. During her tenure, the magazine chronicled significant changes across workplace learning, leadership, technology and organisational development and provided a platform for practitioners, researchers and industry leaders.
Carter's editorial work helped shape professional discussion across the learning and development sector. She was widely respected for her editorial judgement and commitment to high-quality journalism.
