Blify lands $2.1M for AI-Native learning in Slack and Teams, backed by veterans from EU Leading HR Tech scaleups
Blify, the startup that turns Slack and Teams into intelligent learning platforms, today announced a $2.1 million pre-seed funding round to accelerate the development of its AI-native Learning Operating System. The company claims to deliver 10x higher engagement than traditional LMS platforms. Its customers, including Club Med and Kaufman & Broad, use Blify to train employees across multiple countries, reflecting the platform's global reach from its earliest days.
Corporate training is broken and the numbers prove it
Companies spend billions on employee training every year. Yet traditional LMS and LXP platforms achieve barely 10% monthly engagement. Skills don't stick. Employees forget what they've learned within weeks. And HR teams keep adding tools with nothing to show for it.
"As trainers, we've seen it firsthand: people learn, improve... then forget everything within weeks," says Tristan Vié, co-CEO and co-founder of Blify. "LMS and LXP platforms barely hit 10% monthly engagement. The reason is simple — nobody wants to log into yet another platform to sit through a generic, one-hour course completely disconnected from their daily work."
"The problem isn't the content, it's the model," adds Clément Lhommeau, co-CEO and co-founder of Blify.
"In a world where skills become obsolete fast and hiring is harder than ever, continuous learning is no longer optional — it's a matter of survival."
Learning that lives where work happens
Blify's answer is to remove the platform entirely. Instead of asking employees to come to the training, Blify brings training to the employees natively embedded inside Microsoft Teams, Slack and WhatsApp, in the flow of work.
Its multi-agent AI infrastructure ingests contextual data about each employee and their role to deliver the right knowledge, to the right person, at the right time without ever leaving their existing tools.
The results: 50% of employees engage with training every week, compared to the industry average of 10% monthly. 95% say they never want to go back to a traditional LMS.
"With Blify, we're exploring an 'in the flow of work' approach embedded in Teams. After an initial pilot, we are now expanding its use," says Majid Kiani, Head of Learning & Development at Club Med.
A founding team that has seen the problem from the inside
Blify was built global from day one. Founded by three HR Tech veterans who scaled some of Europe's most successful SaaS companies, the team designed Blify to serve organizations worldwide.
Clément Lhommeau, former CMO of 360Learning
Tristan Vié, former CSO of JobTeaser
Minh-Tu Hua, former Early Engineer and Lead AI at Alan
Their combined background gives Blify an unusually strong founders-market-fit: three operators who lived the problem firsthand, at the companies that defined the Global HR Tech landscape.
Using the funds
The $2.1M round will be used to accelerate product development and expand the engineering team. After spending 2025 co-designing and iterating on its first use case — training managers — Blify is shifting into high gear in 2026 with the launch of a full platform for creating, distributing and managing company-wide training, 100% AI-copiloted.
Investor confidence
The round is led by AFI Ventures (Ventech's impact fund), with participation from Kima Ventures, Better Angle and Fair Equity. The raise also attracted over 50 Business Angels, including founders and executives from Maki People, Alan, Doctolib, JobTeaser, and ABB.
"Blify addresses a critical challenge for all companies: how to develop skills in the age of AI," says Sarah Laznowski, investor at AFI Ventures. "The team combines an intimate understanding of HR challenges in Europe and North America with rare technological mastery. They are best positioned to build the training infrastructure of tomorrow."
Customer validation
"When I met the Blify team, I immediately knew they had truly understood our challenge of keeping learning at the heart of our employees' day-to-day work," says Sophie Letierce, Chief People & Operations Officer at Kaufman & Broad. "They are the best team to tackle skills development in a post-AI world. We have committed to a multi-year partnership with Blify."
Early traction
Selected for the Future40 at Station F (top 4% of Tech startups) and named one of the 5 most promising HR startups in EU at UNLEASH World 2025, Blify enters 2026 with clear momentum and a growing conviction that the era of the standalone LMS is over.
Blify embeds learning into daily work, enabling everyone to become a Superworker. Founded in 2025 by Tristan Vié (ex-JobTeaser), Minh-Tu Hua (ex-Alan) and Clément Lhommeau (ex-360Learning), Blify transforms Slack, Teams, WhatsApp and business tools into intelligent learning platforms through an AI-copiloted Learning Operating System. Blify's purpose: connecting people development with business outcomes, ensuring the engagement of every employee.
Blify is taking part in the upcoming Learning Technologies Exhibition & Conference, London, 29-30 April. Meet the team on stand LP04. Event registration.
