Abilitie achieves Gold Standard accreditation from the Learning and Performance Institute

AbilitieLearning News

Abilitie has achieved the LPI Gold Standard accreditation, a prestigious recognition of its high-impact, technology-powered leadership programmes. The award highlights Abilitie’s commitment to measurable client outcomes, a strong partnership approach, and consistent quality of learning experience.

Abilitie has been awarded Gold Standard accreditation by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI), recognising the quality, impact, and innovation of its leadership development programmes and client partnerships.

The LPI accreditation process is one of the most rigorous assessments in workplace learning, requiring providers to demonstrate excellence across strategy, delivery, client impact, and operational performance. The Gold Standard designation is awarded only to organisations able to evidence sustained quality and measurable outcomes for clients.
As part of the assessment, Abilitie was required to demonstrate a clear and differentiated value proposition, including how its human-led, technology-powered approach creates engaging and strategically relevant learning experiences for organisations worldwide.

The process also involved extensive validation of programme impact through verified client case studies, learner feedback and operational review. Assessors examined how Abilitie partners with organisations to deliver measurable leadership and business outcomes, rather than standalone training interventions.

Ed Monk, CEO of the LPI, said:
“Gold Standard accreditation is not awarded lightly. It recognises learning providers that can demonstrate real quality, consistency and impact across every part of their work. Our assessors were particularly impressed by the way Abilitie combines human-led learning, technology and peer connection to create leadership development experiences that are engaging, relevant and commercially focused. This is exactly the kind of evidence-based, outcomes-focused approach the LPI is proud to recognise. Congratulations to Alex and the whole team at Abilitie.”

Alex Whiteleather, Managing Director for Abilitie in Europe, added:
“We’ve been LPI-accredited for three years now, and achieving Gold in 2026 feels like a real marker of how far we’ve come. The rigour of the process is what makes it mean something. This isn’t a badge you buy: it’s a reflection of the people behind our programmes and the genuine care we put into every learning experience. Human-led, technology-powered — and now Gold standard.”

The accreditation reflects growing demand from organisations seeking leadership development experiences that combine practical business relevance, peer learning and emerging technologies such as AI.

To demonstrate what this looks like in practice, Abilitie and Entain Group will be participating in the upcoming LEARNING LIVE: AI Edition conference with their session: From Silos to Synergy: Redesigning Leadership Development with AI and Peer Learning at Entain Group.

This session will introduce a best-in-class leadership development programme and explore how Entain Group has successfully aligned learning technology with intentional relationship building to strengthen the critical leadership capabilities needed for a more connected and high‑performing culture.

Join them on May 21 at LEARNING LIVE: AI Edition to explore how AI can be practically applied in leadership development to improve learning experience and outcomes.
