Fitch Learning completes acquisition of Moody’s Analytics Learning Solutions and CSI
Fitch Learning has completed its acquisition of Moody’s Analytics Learning Solutions and the Canadian Securities Institute, adding to its financial training and certification portfolio.
Moody’s Analytics Learning Solutions, a provider of credit and digital learning, will be integrated into Fitch Learning and its brand retired. The Canadian Securities Institute will continue to operate under its existing name and will retain oversight of its certifications. Fitch Learning said the combined business will serve more than 92,000 professionals in 148 countries.
The company stated that the deal strengthens its coverage across commercial and consumer banking, credit risk, wealth and investment management, corporate and investment banking and professional skills, with additional capability in data analytics and AI.
Andreas Karaiskos, CEO of Fitch Learning, said the acquisition aims to ‘create more opportunities for growth’ for organisations and individuals, adding that combining the businesses’ expertise and technologies would help clients ‘build future ready teams’.
He described the completion as a ‘transformative milestone’ for the organisation and its learners.
Fitch Learning said the move supports its plans to offer a broader set of learning pathways supported by digital tools and established qualifications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
