2024 is the eleventh anniversary of the L&D Global Sentiment Survey run by Donald H Taylor.
Each year it asks one question: ‘What will be hot in L&D in the year ahead?’
Thousands of L&D practitioners from all around the world take part and a report is published in February each year.

What happened in 2023?
In 2023, Reskillking and upskilling remained in the top spot for the third year in a row, althought slightly down on the previous year. Those ideas which rely on data rose in 2023, including Artificial intelligence, Skills-based talent management and Learning analytics which occupied positions 2, 3 and 4. There are 15 L&D topics on the the list and voters choose their own top three.
