Assemble You secures investment for podcast learning
Ufi Ventures leads £310,000 investment in Assemble You, a podcast-style audio library helping workers to learn on the go.
Ufi Ventures is leading an investment into Assemble You, the audio innovation team bringing podcast-style courses to the learning industry.
The £310k pre-seed round was led by Ufi Ventures with the team at Assemble You, bringing together a collection of industry thought leaders and influencers including Donald H Taylor, Chair of the Learning Technologies Conference, Toby Mansel-Pleydell, Chairman and CFO at Learnerbly, and Rob Small, Founder of Miniclip.
Podcast listeners will reach over 500m in the next two years, however audio remains largely underserved in corporate learning programmes. By producing succinct, structured, audio courses Assemble You serves two key learner groups; screen-fatigued knowledge workers learning on the go, and deskless frontline workers without regular access to a desktop screen. With content covering topics from leadership and communication to productivity and diversity and inclusion, Assemble You fills a gap between traditional eLearning and popular podcasts, delivering deep reflective learning experiences via the convenience and privacy of audio.
The demand for audio across learning is gathering pace. Assemble You is innovating with audio for learning, providing new opportunities for large and often underserved groups of workers to access learning and develop their skills. We see huge potential and are delighted to back the team at Assemble You”.

Assemble You will use this first round of funding to grow production capacity and market reach, with a primary focus on supporting existing clients and attracting new B2B revenue.
The company also delivers bespoke custom content for clients, has established an impressive resell partner channel, and has plans to move into the B2C space.
"We're thrilled to be part of the Ufi Portfolio and have them lead our first round. Their founder friendly approach, willingness to partner, potential to follow on, all combined with ongoing involvement from the team is a huge support to us at this stage in our journey."
