QA: developing the workforce
An interview with Giles Smith, QA, at Learning Live 2019.
At Learning Live last month in London, Learning News caught up with QA’s director of solutions for the financial services sector, Giles Smith.
QA is one of the UK’s best-known learning providers, offering over 1,250 IT and business courses, certifications and apprenticeships, from cybersecurity and systems design to project management and end user applications and more. And it's one of the biggest, with an annual turnover of £280 million. Learning News asked Giles Smith about how QA is adapting to the market and its focus in 2019.
Giles talks about QA’s work helping large organisations to identify and build the skills needed for the modern economy. He points out that as well as QA’s continued focus on its considerable training delivery operation, QA has experts in both current and future technologies able to advise organisations on the talent and skills needed for successful digital transformation, a service the market is increasingly recognising QA for providing.
