Larmer Brown has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with SAP®. Through this agreement Larmer Brown will integrate and offer the learning content development capabilities of the SAP® Enable Now solution within the Larmer Brown Platform

This solution is expected to provide Larmer Brown's clients with access to the recently updated SAP tool in order to author their own performance support and learning content, for any IT system implementation, as well as a "Lite LMS" to meet compliance and soft-skills requirements.

“Larmer Brown has supported clients with their IT implementations for more than 20 years, utilising Oracle’s User Productivity Kit (UPK) to deliver a comprehensive user adoption solution. With Oracle announcing UPK’s end of life, Larmer Brown has been seeking an alternative solution to support our clients. I believe we have found the perfect fit,” said Janice Brown, director at Larmer Brown. “Through our OEM partnership with SAP, we can leverage the power of SAP Enable Now in order to offer our clients a flexible package of modular services to manage their learning and development programs - whether rollout of a new IT system with performance support, change management, compliance or soft-skills training.”

The Larmer Brown Platform is a powerful subscription-based solution encompassing a range of complementary products and services to enhance the learner experience. The new solution will include:

  • SAP Enable Now
  • Development Tracker
  • Process Modelling
  • Managed Hosting
  • Support
  • Content Development & Maintenance

Larmer Brown will be launching the new Larmer Brown Platform, incorporating SAP Enable Now, during a client event on Wednesday 11th October 2017, in Datchet, Berkshire. The event is specifically aimed at Larmer Brown's existing client base. "Our clients are in a state of flux as they seek comprehensive solutions that offer learning content development capabilities. Our event will outline the extensive research that Larmer Brown has undertaken in order to find this solution and demonstrate how the Larmer Brown Platform delivers a viable alternative to products that have reached end of life," explained Janice Brown.

"As an SAP OEM partner, Larmer Brown is a prime example of how our diverse and expanding partner ecosystem is choosing to innovate with SAP technology under the OEM program," said Fady Sfeir, SAP vice president, OEM & ISV for EMEA & MEE. "The OEM program allows companies to leverage SAP's R&D investment in solution platforms, which can then be white-labelled as part of the OEM partner's solutions. SAP Enable Now is a solution that is key to transforming how companies support the ongoing training needs of their workforce without having to leave their desks, rather than outdated, time-consuming and more expensive classroom training. We are delighted to be partnering with Larmer Brown as a leading innovator in training and enablement.”

SAP Enable Now offers organisations the ability to create and deliver formal training, informal learning and performance support using a user-friendly web-based interface. Content authors can easily create and deploy context-sensitive user help, transaction documentation, training simulations, test scripts and e-learning materials for IT applications.

More about the Larmer Brown Platform is available from its website along with details and registrations for the client event.
